Women in Law was founded in 2020 with the goal is to equip women and members of the LGBTQ2+ community with necessary knowledge, tools, and connections to give them the advantage they need to advance in a career with clear gender and sex discrimination.

Our Purpose

The mandate of the Women in Law group is to break the glass ceiling that persist in the legal profession by building a strong community that supports and empowers women and members of the LGBTQ2+ community who want to pursue careers in law. Programs created will aim at assisting women and LGBTQ2+ members in their educational and career endeavors through offering LSAT tips, information on law schools, and professional advice. We will also host networking events, discussion panels with successful women in law, and advocacy initiatives to battle the gender inequality that persists in the legal profession.
